Roop turns into a bakery chef to compete with wife as her wife was googling the recipe whe he entered and said he could bake a better cake. This ended in a competition between the two. The occasion is of birthday of Roop's father-in-law's and since he is a master at cooking he takes up the task of cooking a cake for him.
