During the eighth Deepotsav celebration in Ayodhya, two remarkable Guinness World Records were achieved on the banks of the Saryu River, marking an extraordinary event in the city’s history. This year’s Deepotsav set records for the most people participating in an aarti ceremony simultaneously and the largest number of oil lamps lit at once. A stunning total of 1,121 devotees gathered in unison to perform the grand Saryu Aarti, creating a powerful visual and spiritual display.
