Terror Plot Exposed: Jaish-E-Mohammed Links Found in Shahbaz Siddiqui Case
A major security-related development has emerged in Uttar Pradesh after the arrest of Shahbaz Siddiqui, who is allegedly linked to the terror group Jaish-e-Mohammed. According to sources, during interrogation by the UP Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS), the suspect has made several significant revelations regarding a possible terror plot. Officials claim that Shahbaz was allegedly preparing for a fidayeen (suicide) attack and was only waiting for instructions from his handlers. Investigators have also reportedly recovered digital evidence from his mobile phone, which is being analyzed to trace his communication with suspected foreign contacts. Shahbaz was arrested on May 18 from Kasganj, and has since been on remand for continuous questioning. During interrogation, links to a handler named Mohammad Umar have reportedly surfaced, along with conversations on platforms such as WhatsApp and Instagram. Authorities are now probing the wider network and possible associates connected to the case, while further investigation is ongoing to determine the extent of the alleged terror module and its operational planning.
