Russia-Ukraine War: Russia’s black sea flagship Moskva sinks, Ukraine claims credit | ABP News
After receiving heavy damage on April 14, the Russian navy's Black Sea fleet flagship appears to have sunk. Ukraine claimed to have targeted the ship with a TB-2 Bayraktar drone made in Turkey and Neptune anti-ship missiles developed in Ukraine. Russia disputes this, claiming that the fire and subsequent damage were the product of an accident. The guided missile cruiser Moskva sustained "severe damage," according to Russian officials, but the damage was caused by an onboard fire that resulted in an unintended ammunition explosion. The warship was allegedly attacked on purpose by Ukrainian military authorities.
