New COVID-19 strain spreads to 8 countries, WHO confirms

The New strain of the coronavirus which was found in Britain has now spread to eight countries. The World Health Organisation has confirmed the spread of this new COVID-19 strain. 

Earlier, 5 passengers who arrived in Japan from Britain tested positive for this new strain and are presently in quarantine. All others who came in their contact are being traced.

Significantly, many countries have temporarily banned flights from UK.
