Earthquake of 7 magnitude hits Falkland Islands, Chilean Navy issues Tsunami alert

A high magnitude earthquake has hit the Falkland Islands. The magnitude of the Earthquake has been measured 7 on the Richter scale. After the earthquake, Chilean Navy issued an alert over Tsunami in the area.

No casualties have been reported so far. The waves are heading towards the Military base in Chile post which the alert was issued. More details are awaited.
