COVID-19: American Senator tests positive

An American senator has tested positive for Coronavirus. Mario Diaz-Balart, R-Fla., announced Wednesday that he has tested positive, becoming the first known member of Congress to contract the rapidly spreading virus. Diaz-Balart, who represents parts of Miami and South Florida, said in a statement that he decided to self-quarantine. The death toll due to coronavirus has crossed 100 in the US with the total number of cases over 7000. The deadly virus emerged in China last year.
