In the district panchayat president election held in Uttar Pradesh, BJP has captured 65 out of 75 seats. Samajwadi Party has only managed to win 6 seats while others have won 4. BJP has made a clean sweep on all the seats in Bundelkhand. In 22 districts of Uttar Pradesh, district panchayat presidents were declared elected unopposed.
