Veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan receives Dadasaheb Phalke Award

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan receives the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award from President Ram Nath Kovind in a function at the Rashtrapati Bhavan in Delhi on Sunday.The veteran actor receives the highest honour of the film industry for his outstanding contribution to the cinema world. Bachchan first gained popularity in the early 1970s for films such as Zanjeer, Deewaar and Sholay, and was dubbed India's "angry young man" for his on-screen roles in Bollywood.
