UP: Yogi Cabinet approves Farmers Accident Welfare Scheme

Under the Chief Minister Krishak Accident Welfare Scheme, farmers of Uttar Pradesh will be assisted by the government in case of accidental death or disability. The decision was taken in the cabinet meeting on Tuesday. Five lakh rupees will be given for the death of a farmer or any member of his family during an accident during the work of the farm and Rs. 2 lakh if he has a disability of more than 60%. It will include farmers from 18 to 70 years and their family members.
