TMC's Saugata Roy at Shikhar Sammelan: 'Jai Shri Ram is not our slogan, we say Jai Maa Kali'

TMC MP Saugat Roy while speaking at the ABP News Shikhar Sammelan clarified political stir going on over the slogan 'Jai Shri Ram'. Reiterating the Mamata Banerjee's aim, Roy on Thursday said that 'Maa, Mati and Manush' is still the slogan of Mamata Banerjee. Mati and Manush are closely related. The wrong image of Mamata Banerjee is being portrayed in the media. Mamta Banerjee's image is like a guardian for the people of Bengal. 

Regarding the controversy over Jai Shri Ram's slogan, Saugata Roy said - Jai Shri Ram is not the slogan of Bengalis. The people of Bengal usually say Jai Maa Kali or Jai Maa Durga. That does not mean we have any problem with Jai Shri Ram.
