Sandeshkhali Case: CBI files charge sheet against Shahjahan Sheikh in ED attack case | ABP News

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has filed a charge sheet against Sheikh Shahjahan and his brother Alamgir in the land scam. Apart from Shahjahan and his brother, the names of one of his close associates, Shiv Prasad Hazra and Didar Baksh Maula, have also been added to the charge sheet. Recently, their properties worth about Rs 14 crore were attached. With the arrest of 4 people in this case, ED has identified Rs 288 crore as proceeds of crime. ED has said in its charge sheet that suspended Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader Sheikh Shahjahan made Rs 261 crore by occupying 180 bighas of land in and around Sandeshkhali. The 113-page charge sheet also includes the names of Shahjahan's brother Sheikh Alamgir and his associates Didar Baksh Maula and Shiv Prasad Hazra. Together, these four captured the lands around Sandeshkhali and also threatened the people.
