Pakistan Breaking : Imran Khan in Islamabad district court for threatening IG and DIG
A case has been registered against former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan and top leaders of his party 'PTI' for violating a ban on holding public events in Islamabad. Khan had addressed a protest meeting here on August 20. Holding the party leadership responsible for violating Section 144, the police registered a case at Aabpara police station in Islamabad on Monday. Earlier, the Islamabad High Court had decided to initiate contempt proceedings against former Prime Minister Khan for making controversial remarks about a woman judge during a rally here.
