Indian army organises motivational tour in Kargil for students ahead of 25th 'Kargil Vijay Diwas'

Ahead of the 25th 'Kargil Vijay Diwas' on July 26th, the Indian army organised a motivational tour for school students of Beema village in the Kargil district of Ladakh on Thursday. The tour, which aimed to educate and inspire the students about the valour and sacrifices made by the Indian troops during the 1999 Kargil War, was organised by the Tiger Hill Brigade. The students and teachers were grateful to the Indian Army for the opportunity and were profoundly impacted by the stories of the bravery and heroism of the unsung warriors. 'Kargil Vijay Diwas', or 'Kargil Victory Day', is observed annually on July 26th to pay homage to the Kargil martyrs, who fought bravely in the 1999 conflict with Pakistan along the Line of Control (LoC).
