Why govt did not think about Hindus living in Sri Lanka: Questions AAP's Sanjay Singh
Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Sanjay Singh heavily criticized the BJP government at the centre for turning a blind eye to the protests and the concerns of the people regarding the Citizenship Amendment Bill 2019 (CAB). He stated that the Bill is extremely dangerous for the Constitution and that it is an attempt to devalue the Constitution. He questioned, "Why BJP is not bothered about Hindus living in Sri Lanka?"
AAP leader Sanjay Singh slams BJP saying that they have to face the wrath of the people after trying to pass the Citizenship Amendment Bill. He said that the BJP has pulled wool over their eyes, absolutely unbothered by a section of the country (northeast) that is burning.
The government had introduced Citizenship Amendment Bill 2019 in the Upper House. The Bill got cleared in Lok Sabha on Monday.
