Wayanad Landslide: Watch Big Updates Of The Hour Only On ABP News | Rahul Gandhi

The Indian Air Force has significantly intensified its rescue operations in Wayanad, Kerala, following a devastating natural disaster. Leveraging helicopter support, the Air Force successfully extracted two individuals who were trapped in debris. This critical operation involved meticulous coordination to navigate the challenging terrain and reach those in distress. In addition, Indian Army personnel have made notable progress in the rescue efforts. They managed to save three soldiers stranded near the Soojipara Waterfall. These soldiers were airlifted by helicopter and transported to a secure location, ensuring their safety amidst the ongoing chaos. The rescue operations in Wayanad are now in their final stages. Despite the progress, there are still 206 people unaccounted for, adding urgency to the efforts. The death toll has unfortunately risen to 361, with authorities facing difficulties in identifying the deceased due to the scale of the disaster and the condition of the bodies. The situation remains dire, with the rescue teams working around the clock to locate and save the missing individuals while addressing the challenges posed by the extensive damage and high number of casualties.
