Haryana Election Breaking News: Sources Reveal Congress Poised To Seal Alliance With AAP Today | ABP News
Haryana is gearing up for assembly elections, and while it was initially believed that AAP would contest independently, sources now reveal that AAP is ready to form an alliance with Congress. AAP has agreed to compromise on seat allocation, except for key constituencies like Kalayat, where AAP’s Haryana Vice President, Anurag Dhanda, is expected to run. The party is also seeking at least one seat in Kurukshetra, where Haryana AAP President Sushil Gupta plans to contest.
Meanwhile, Congress has released its first list of candidates, including Olympian Vinesh Phogat for the Julana constituency. Congress has also fielded Bhupinder Singh Hooda, Rao Dan Singh, and Aftab Ahmed. While talks between the two parties are ongoing, if the alliance falls through, AAP plans to release its list of candidates soon. The last date for nominations is September 12.
