Vadodara News: Nine-year-old Sets Guinness World Record For Hula Hoop Rotations Around Hair Bun

Last year, nine-year-old Jamini Prashant Soni set a Guinness World Record for the most hula hoop rotations around a hair bun in one minute. Jamini, a resident of Vadodara, achieved 153 rotations, beating the previous record of 138."We did not know about Hula Hoop but she was crazy about it. Since childhood she used to search about it on internet, she searched Hula Hoop on YouTube and first we got her a basic hoop and she started practising with it. Then we saw that she was improving, and we searched for online classes because there were no (physical) classes available in our area, and she received training through online classes," says Jaimini's mother. Jamini is passionate about honing her hula hoop skills and practices for at least an hour every day. She hopes to break her own record and set a new one in the future.
