Uttarakhand's new CM will take oath on March 11, Trivendra Rawat resigns

Uttarakhand's new Chief Minister will take oath on March 11 at 11 am. Trivendra Singh Rawat has tendered his resignation today.

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat on Tuesday handed his resignation to Governor Baby Rani Maurya.

The move came after heavy speculation of Rawat addressing a press conference ahead of his meeting with the Governor. However, the 60-year-old BJP leader first met Maurya and then proceeded to announce the decision to the media.
