Uttar Pradesh: Almost 11 lakh students fail in Hindi board exams
Uttar Pradesh is a state where the mother tongue is Hindi, state language is Hindi and mode of education in 99 percent schools is Hindi. Despite that almost 11 lakh students failed the Hindi board exams this year in the state. While 5,27,866 students failed Hindi exam in Class X, the number was 2,69,960 in Class XII. The total comes up to 10,89,619. Meanwhile, over 1.43 lakh students didn't appear for Hindi exams in Class X and over 1.48 lakh in Class XII.
