UP Elections Phase 1 Voting LIVE Updates: Nahid Hassan's sister hopes for free and fair elections

Nahid Hassan's sister Iqra Hassan was talking to ABP News after casting her vote. She said that she hoped for a free and fair elections. Iqra had been canvassing for Nahid as he is behind bars.

The voting for phase 1 has begun in Uttar Pradesh. Residents will be casting votes on 58 Vidhan Sabha seats today. More than 2 crore voters will be using their Right to Vote today. Ahead of Phase one, PM Modi and CM Yogi Adityanath have appealed to the people to come out of the homes in order to cast votes.
