Union Minister Nitin Gadkari lauds Budget 2022, calls it 'historic'

Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister for Roads, Transport and Highways, praised the 'historic' Union Budget 2021, stating that it was the first budget to give a big boost to the country's infrastructure. FM Sitharaman declared an increased outlay of Rs 1,18,101 crore for the Ministry of Roads, Transport and Highways in her budget presentation on Monday, including Rs 1.08 lakh crore for capital, the largest ever allocated.
