However, higher capital gains tax and removal of indexation benefits caused disappointment. The budget offers significant advantages for the salaried class and pensioners, including incentives for staff training, reduced corporate tax for foreign companies, affordable education loans, and doubled Mudra loans for small businesses. Notably, Rs 1.5 lakh crore aid is allocated for all states, cancer drugs and mobile phones will become cheaper, and startups benefit from angel tax elimination. The capital expenditure for FY 2025 is set at Rs 11.11 lakh crore.
