Union Budget 2024: Finance Minister Outlines 9 Key Priorities | ABP News

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced the nine priorities of the Union Budget 2024:

1. Agriculture
2. Employment
3. Inclusive Development
4. Manufacturing and Services
5. Urban Development
6. Energy
7. Infrastructure
8. Innovation and R&D
9. Next-Gen Reforms

The government also introduced a new centrally sponsored skilling programme to assist 20 lakh youth over five years, with the establishment of 1,000 industrial training institutes. India's economic growth remains robust and is expected to continue strongly in the coming year. Inflation remains low and stable, moving towards the 4 percent target, with core inflation at 3.1 percent. Measures are being taken to ensure the adequate supply of perishable goods in the market, according to Sitharaman.
