Union Budget 2024: Andhra Pradesh Asked For Rs 1 Lakh Crore, Got Only Rs 15 Thousand Crore—See What TDP Said | ABP News

On Tuesday, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the Union Budget for 2024-25 in the Lok Sabha, marking the first budget of Modi's third term. Key announcements focus on youth employment, with the government introducing additional PF benefits for millions entering the workforce, contributing Rs 15,000 to their PF accounts. The budget includes:

1. Rs 2 lakh crore for five youth schemes, benefiting over 5 crore people.
2. Rs 1.52 lakh crore for agriculture, providing digital infrastructure for 6 crore farmers.
3. Infrastructure development in Bihar, including three expressways and a new industrial hub in Gaya.
4. Manufacturing sector job creation with incentives for first-time employees.
5. Monthly reimbursements of Rs 3,000 for new employees over two years.
6. Direct benefit transfers of up to Rs 15,000 for formal sector workers earning up to Rs 1 lakh.
7. Mudra loan limit increased to Rs 20 lakh.
8. Rs 2.66 lakh crore allocated for rural development and 12 new industrial parks.
