Union Budget 2022: Will India be able to keep up its growth momentum this year?

Nirmala Sitharaman, the Union Minister of Finance, will introduce the Union Budget 2022 at 11 a.m. on Tuesday. After being appointed as finance minister in 2019, this is Sitharaman's fourth budget presentation. Budget 2022 will determine whether India can maintain its current growth rate in 2022. According to media estimates, due to policy and fiscal constraints, FM Sitharaman may not propose any changes to income tax brackets in the Union Budget 2022.
