UK High Court dismisses Mallya's petition against extradition
United Kingdom Court has dismissed Vijay Mallya’s appeal for extradition to India. Businessman Vijay Mallya, who has been declared a fugitive by the Indian government, has suffered a major setback. The High Court of England and Wales on Monday dismissed an appeal against his extradition to India. Vijay Mallya is wanted for financial offences worth Rs 9,000 crore borrowed by his company Kingfisher Airlines from several banks in India.
