In Bengaluru, a six-story under-construction building collapsed due to heavy rainfall, resulting in the deaths of five people so far. At the time of the incident, over 15 workers were present in the building.

In Delhi, the air quality remains hazardous as toxic water has contaminated the Yamuna River, with white foam floating in Kalindi Kunj. The river's condition has significantly deteriorated over the past few days.

Delhi-NCR continues to experience a hazy sky, with a persistent layer of white smog. The air quality index (AQI) has reached a 'very poor' level of 349.

As part of measures to combat pollution, GRAP 2 has been implemented in Delhi since Monday. This includes increased frequency of DTC buses and metro services, along with higher parking fees. The Public Works Department (PWD) is also conducting water sprinkling in various areas, including Mansingh Road, to reduce dust and haze.
