Skipping China, PM Modi announces free ration for poor till November | Master Stroke
In his 16-minute long address to the nation, PM Modi gave the issue of the standoff with China a skip and focussed entirely on Covid-19 and its impact on the poor and underprivileged of India. PM Modi announced the continuation of Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana till 30 November 2020 which will benefit 80 crore people in the country. At the same time, he also announced 'One Nation, One Ration Card' scheme. However, Congress isn't impressed.
