Union cabinet meeting likely to be held in Delhi today NDA BJP lead NDA Alliance won the mandate in lok sabha election 2024. Reacting to the Lok Sabha election 2024 results, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday stated that people have placed their 'faith' in National Democratic Alliance (NDA), for a third consecutive time. Expressing gratitude towards the people of the country the Prime Minister thanked the party workers for their efforts. The BJP has heavily lost in its strongholds of Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and Rajasthan, although it is likely to form the government with about 290 seats. On its own, the saffron party has fallen below the majority mark, with leads in 242 seats despite major gains in Odisha, Telangana, and Kerala, offering some solace to the party after unexpected losses in the Hindi belt.  The I.N.D.I.A bloc, formed due to their common opposition to the BJP, has been leading in about 230 seats.
