Rain Havoc In Pune, Water Filled In Many Societies, Possibility Of Heavy Rain Even Today | ABP News
Pune, Maharashtra is grappling with the havoc caused by heavy rainfall. Overnight rains have led to waterlogging in several areas, trapping residents in their homes. The situation worsened as water was released from the Khadakwasla Dam into the Mutha River, which flows through Pune, releasing around 40 cusecs of additional water. Many parts of the city have been without electricity since last night. Rainwater has entered approximately 15 housing societies in Pune. Tragically, three people have lost their lives due to electrocution. The city has recorded over 100 millimeters of rain at four different locations. Authorities are working to manage the situation and have urged residents to stay safe and take necessary precautions.
