Qutub Minar Controversy: What does the history of the structure say? | ABP News

Amid demands for restoration of Hindu and Jain deities in the Qutub Minar complex, the Delhi Waqf Board has claimed that prayers have already been held in the mosque of the Qutub Minar complex here, but the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) has stopped it. The board has demanded to allow Namaz in this mosque.

There has been no response from ASI in this matter yet. However, earlier on Tuesday, the ASI had opposed the plea in a Delhi court seeking restoration of idols of Hindu and Jain deities in the Qutub Minar complex. The ASI clearly stated that this is not a place of worship and the present status of the memorial cannot be changed.
