Punjab: Farmers halt 'Rail Roko' movement for 15 days, train services to resume from 24 November
9 farmer organizations of Punjab will vacate the rail tracks for 15 days from Monday. This decision was taken in a meeting of farmer leaders held in Chandigarh with CM Amarinder Singh.
Railways has decided to run 17 passenger trains between November 24 and November 29. However, goods trains will start running on the tracks from this afternoon.
