Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann likely to announce MSP for all four crops today | ABP News
Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann invited farmers to start cultivating moong on Friday, promising that the state government would buy it at the Minimum Support Price. Last year, the Centre approved an MSP of Rs 7,275 per quintal for moong. Farmers have been instructed to plant the moong crop now so that it is ready to harvest in the first week of July. "Moong crop will be ready to harvest in 55 days. Farmers who opt for moong cultivation now can go in for late growing paddy variety PR 126 or basmati cultivation in the first week of July," the Chief Minister stated in a video message.
