Poster Politics in Uttar Pradesh, Sanjay Nishad's Hoarding Sparks Debate | ABP News
In the political landscape of Uttar Pradesh, poster politics has become a hot topic of discussion. In the state capital, Lucknow, a poster featuring Sanjay Nishad, the president of the Nishad Party and a cabinet minister, has caught significant attention on the streets. The poster reads, “Twenty-Seven is the Slogan, Nishad is the Support,” and it includes photos of Sanjay Nishad and his son, Praveen Nishad. This poster was put up by Nishad Party leader Bijendra Kumar Tripathi. Previously, a different poster featuring Sanjay Nishad labeled him as the "Helmsman of 2027." In this latest hoarding, he is depicted as a source of support. The newly launched slogans have become a topic of conversation, with hoardings placed near the Samajwadi Party office, Chief Minister’s residence, Raj Bhavan, and Sanjay Nishad's residence. Following the BJP's decision not to allocate any seats to the Nishad Party in the Uttar Pradesh by-elections, these hoardings have been strategically displayed by Bijendra Kumar Tripathi. The aim is to convey the message that the support of the Nishad Party will be essential for the BJP in the 2027 elections. It is noteworthy that Sanjay Nishad, the national president of the Nishad Party, had been asserting his claim for the Mirzapur Majhwan seat, but the party did not receive any seats from the BJP. There were speculations about Sanjay Nishad's displeasure due to the lack of tickets in the by-elections; however, he has clarified these rumors, stating that the party and its workers will fully support the NDA candidates. He emphasized that the workers of the Nishad Party will back the NDA candidates and that all nine seats will be won by NDA candidates.
