Police ask anti and pro-CAA protesters to retract

A few hours ahead of American President's visit to India, violence erupted in Maujpur, Kabir Nagar areas of Delhi and UP's Aligarh. In Delhi, stones were pelted whereas in Aligarh the protesters vandalised vehicles, set them ablaze and even tried to pelt stones at police officers. The police officer in Delhi said that he had tried to establish talks with protesters and asked them to leave.
