PM Modi at Deoghar : 'Shortcut Politics Can Destroy Nation' , says PM Modi | Matrabhumi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday addressed a rally in Jharkhand Deoghar and that short-cut politics based on populist measures can destroy India, lead to short-circuit. PM Modi said this after he embarked on a 12-km roadshow in Jharkhand's Deoghar district amid tight security. During his roadshow, PM Modi also said that his government is making investments to provide modern facilities at places associated with faith, historical importance in the state.

Furthermore, he pointed out that India is land of faith and spirituality. "Pilgrimages shaped us as a better society and country," he said.

Supporters of PM Modi crowded both sides of the road as PM's cavalcade passed through the meandering roads of Deoghar during the roadshow. PM Modi waved at the crowd and greeted people with folded hands.
