Petrol-Diesel prices hiked by 60 paisa per litre across the country

After an 83-day hiatus, petrol and diesel prices have been hiked across the country by 60 paise per litre. The step comes even as the price of crude oil is at an all-time low during the international market. The price of petrol in Delhi will be Rs 71.86 per litre. It is clear that the government does not want to transfer the benefit of cheap crude oil to the public as of now and use it to fill its coffers.
