People Of Bangladesh Should Feel We Have Good Relations With India: Foreign Affairs Adviser | ABP Live
Md. Touhid Hossain, Foreign Affairs Adviser to the Interim Government of Bangladesh, emphasized the need for India to build strong ties not only with the ruling government but also with the people of Bangladesh. In an exclusive interview with ABP LIVE, Hossain, who served as Bangladesh's Deputy High Commissioner in Kolkata from 2001 to 2005, expressed concerns about the prevailing "unhappiness" among Bangladeshis regarding India. He highlighted that the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) requires revival and should not be stalled due to ongoing enmity between India and Pakistan. Hossain's remarks, made during a conversation with Nayanima Basu in Dhaka, underline the importance of fostering broader and more positive relations between the two neighboring countries.
