NEET UG 2024: Here's All You Need To Know About Supreme Court's Decision On Exam, Detailed Report

The Supreme Court's notice on a transfer petition by the National Testing Agency (NTA) regarding the NEET-UG 2024 exam irregularities is noteworthy. The NTA aims to transfer a case from the Delhi High Court alleging paper leak and other issues to the Supreme Court. Justices Vikram Nath and Sandeep Mehta, on a vacation bench, combined NTA's transfer petition with other related cases for a hearing on July 8. Advocate Vardhaman Kaushik, representing the NTA, mentioned the withdrawal of three additional transfer petitions concerning grace marks issues due to the NTA's decision to revoke them, as per the recent Supreme Court order. Kaushik also noted that the High Courts would be informed accordingly. Additionally, the Supreme Court instructed the NTA to respond within two weeks to a plea for a CBI investigation into the alleged paper leak, filed by Hitesh Singh Kashyap. According to the plea, students at the Jay Jalaram Center in Godhra, Gujarat, allegedly paid bribes to secure center selection, involving students from various states. Following complaints, authorities arrested five individuals, including teachers at the Jay Jalaram Center, obtaining details of 26 involved students.
