Moscow: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh attends the 75th Victory Day Parade

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, who went to Russia to attend the program, said that he is extremely proud that the Indian Army has participated in the parade. 

Indian soldiers are led by officers of the rank of Major of the Sikh Light Infantry Regiment. This regiment took part in the Second World War. It won several gallantry awards, including four Battle Honors and two military crosses, for fighting in this battle. In the Second World War, 87 thousand soldiers of the Indian Army were martyred.
