Modi govt considering proposal for revision of OBC creamy layer income criteria

The Lok Sabha was informed on Tuesday that the proposal for revision of income criteria for the creamy layer of Other Backward Classes (OBCs) was under consideration by the Narendra Modi government. Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment, Krishan Pal Gurjar, told that the proposal was sent after consultation with the National Commission for backward classes.
