Modi Cabinet 3.0: New Central Cabinet Active and All Set To Work, watch Updates | ABP News

Prime Minister Narendra Modi retained 34 ministers from his second council of ministers, including 19 with Cabinet berths. Among those who took the oath again were prominent figures such as Rajnath Singh, Amit Shah, Nitin Gadkari, Nirmala Sitharaman, and S Jaishankar, deemed as PM Modi's core team. The senior leaders have retained their previous portfolios in a clear signal of continuity in the governance under NDA 3.0. Annapurna Devi stands out as the only minister promoted from Minister of State to Cabinet rank. L Murugan, despite losing the Lok Sabha election, retained a berth in the council of ministers due to his membership in the Rajya Sabha. Some ministers have been reinstated after a hiatus, including BJP chief J P Nadda, who served during Modi's first term. Similarly, Jual Oram and Ajay Tamta, who were previously ministers, have made a comeback after a gap.
