Parliament Special Session: The special session of Parliament can be held from June 24 to July 3. Sources told ABP News that the newly elected MPs for the 18th Lok Sabha can take oath on June 24 and 25. Apart from this, the election of Lok Sabha Speaker is likely to be held on June 26. The name of an MP will first be proposed by the Central Government for the post of Speaker of the Lok Sabha. If the opposition unanimously accepts the government's proposal, elections will not be held. If this does not happen then the opposition can also field a candidate from its side. President Draupadi Murmu can also address the joint session of both the houses i.e. Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. President Murmu will present the agenda of the third term of the Modi government at the Center through his address.
