MNS chief Raj Thackeray gives ultimatum: 'Loudspeakers in mosques should be shut or else....'
On Tuesday, the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) issued a fresh warning to the state government, requesting that mosque loudspeakers be turned off till May 3. MNS leader Raj Thackeray stated that this was a "social matter, not a religious issue," and that his party would not budge on the issue. If the authorities did not listen to Thackeray, he threatened to play Hanuman Chalisa on the speakers.
