A few days back a viral video of a Ghaziabad resident, Sufi Abdul Samad Saifi created havoc on the internet. The assault on an elderly Muslim man also provoked communal sentiments. Abdul Samad then alleged he was forced to chant 'Jai Sri Ram' and 'Vande Matram' and his beard was cut off. The UP Police, however, denied any communal angle in the case.
