Masked Man Looted Punjab National Bank In Indore, Police Arrive At Spot
Indore (Madhya Pradesh), July 17 (ANI): Lakhs of rupees were looted from a Punjab National Bank (PNB) branch by a masked, armed man in Vijay Nagar Police Station area of Indore. Indore Additional Commissioner of Police Amit Singh said, "An incident occurred at Punjab National Bank at 4.41 pm. A man who was wearing a raincoat as well as a mask entered the bank, fired bullets, terrorised the bankers, and made the Treasurer keep in his bag the Rs 6.5 Lakhs kept on his counter. He then left on his bike. He could not be identified as he was covered in a raincoat but we have some primary clues. A few people, who were perhaps his accomplices, were covering him outside. This will be unearthed soon. Going by his actions and the licensed weapon that he was carrying, he is perhaps an ex-serviceman.”
