Maharashtra: 91 new Covid-19 cases detected in cops

As many as 91 more cops have tested positive for Coronavirus (Covid-19) in Maharashtra. A total of 1421 policemen have tested positive. Out of these, 183 are officer rank policemen and 1238 are regular police personnel.

Meanwhile, a total of 26 police personnel lost their lives due to Covid, most of them were from Mumbai. A major challenge posed by these infections is that when a cop tests positive, his entire team is quarantined, which increases the workload on the rest of the police personnel.
