Loss of Rs 1,754 crore due to electricity theft in India | Ghanti Bajao

Uttar Pradesh's Power minister Shrikant Sharma introduced Prepaid Smart electriity meter plan in November while promising cheap electricity. But no proper implementaion was seen after that over the matter. As per government data of the year 2016, nation faces loss of Rs 1,754 crore due to electricity theft.
