The Lok Sabha elections 2024 have now moved towards their final stage. The seventh and final phase of polling will be held on Saturday, 1 June. In this phase, voting will take place in the remaining 57 seats across 8 states.
In the seventh and final phase, prominent candidates include PM Modi, Bhojpuri star Ravi Kishan from Gorakhpur, BJP candidate Kangana Ranaut from the Mandi seat in Himachal Pradesh, Vikramaditya Singh from Congress, Union Minister Anurag Singh Thakur from Hamirpur, and BJP's Ravi Shankar Prasad from Patna Sahib in Bihar, among others.
In this election, the BJP has made Muslim reservations a central issue, repeatedly stating that if the Indy alliance wins, they will include Muslims in the SC and OBC reservations. Additionally, the BJP is raising the issue of the Ram temple. Meanwhile, the opposition is focusing on issues like the caste census, unemployment, and inflation, with leaders such as Rahul Gandhi, Tejashwi Yadav, and Akhilesh Yadav frequently highlighting these topics in their rallies.
